The WorkForce 1100 also utilizes Epson technology to reduce energy usage by as much as 70% under competing wide format color printers, and its Energy Star approval rating means that, even in standby mode, it will help cut costs on energy consumption.

DURABrite Ultra pigment ink ensures that your valuable work will not only be protected, but is highlighter friendly as well, and, due to UV light resistance, can last up to 105 years. The Epson WorkForce 1100's print speeds, while seemingly limited when compared to smaller printers, is actually quite fast at 13 pages per minute for black prints, and up to 5.5 pages per minute for full color.

These listed print speeds are calculated for fractional paper coverage, however, and full page prints in either monochrome or color will take much longer to execute. As is expected, the Epson WorkForce 1100 is incredibly large compared to other desktop devices, but it also prints in incredibly high resolution of 5760 x 1440 dots per inch. With print quality this high, even giant photographs could be printed in full, lab quality. Selectable droplet sizes as small as 3 picoliters also ensure maximum visual appeal and clarity of charts, pictures, and other media, in full, living color.
