Staples for "Swingline 800" heavy-duty staple gun?

I have a Swingline, model 800 heavy-duty tacker (staple-gun) which I bought about 20 years ago and only use occasionally.
I have nearly run out of staples and Swingline no longer supplies them.

Does anyone know what alternatives I could use? I believe that Arrow 600 series staples should fit but I don't want to buy any without being sure as the smallest available pack size is 5000. They will need to be available in the UK.

I am also considering buying a replacement staple-gun instead of trying to source supplies for an obsolete model, does anyone have any experience with the Stanley and/or the Arrow heavy duty tackers regarding ease of use and reliability?

I looked around on the net and it seems that the Arrow 600s are indeed an equivalent to the Swingline ones and a number of places sell them though I didn't see any UK based places. If you really like that stapler, I'd buy enough to last you the next 20 years. After all, they're cheap and easy to store. A box of 5000 isn't much bigger than a thick paperback book.

If you don't want to go that route, then either Stanley or Arrow heavy duty staplers are good. I've had some of each for years, used them at work to drive thousands of staples and none have broken down. I've had a lighter duty ones break, but from mistreatment rather than a product fault.
