how would i print on a pvc card?

i have a blank pvc card (the type of card used for credit cards and ids) and i was wondering how would i go about printing something on it with a regular ink printer, laser printing is not an option.

You cannot use a regular ink printer or laser to print on those as the ink will not adhere properly, or at all. You have to use an ID printer that is designed specifically to print on card stock of that type. Do a Google search for "ID Printers" to find one that would be compatible for your purpose.
