i am an engineering major and i got accepted to stockton for the spring semester but i got a D in my philosophy class. will they revoke my transfer application for philosophy even if it was an elective?

Ahhh...that is the nightmare everyone worries about. Well, I don't think you will get rejected for your one D. However, they will probably communicate with you that they would like an explanation. If everything else is fine what they might do is accept you provisionally -- that is, put you on academic probation when you first enter college. Which means that if you study hard and do well your spring semester you will be fine, but if you goof off and get bad grades that semester they will kick you out of the school.
